Introducing Kevin Lang, a Visual Storyteller whose cinematic journey has traversed from the quaint town of Howell, Michigan, to the vibrant landscape of Orlando, Florida. Since 1993, Kevin has immersed himself in the world of film and television, kickstarting his career under the mentorship of the renowned Actor/Director James Best, best known for his role in "Dukes of Hazzard."

 

In collaboration with James Best and his wife Dorothy Best, Kevin co-founded Best Friend Films, pioneering HiDef production with state-of-the-art equipment. His hands-on experience in all facets of production and post-production has positioned him as a valuable asset to any project, with a wealth of knowledge that extends across the film industry.

 

Kevin's lens captured a pivotal moment in history as he documented President Bush at Booker Elementary on that fateful day of September 11, 2001. This footage has become an enduring part of our nation's narrative, showcasing Kevin's commitment to preserving significant moments.

 

For the past eight years, Kevin has collaborated with Scott Mann, contributing to The Heroes Journey by filming a plethora of content. Notably, his lens has captured the essence of the award-winning documentary "A Voice Never Heard," chronicling the 2019 Last Out tour. Additionally, "Last Out: Elegy of a Green Beret," a film Kevin worked on, is now streaming on major platforms like Amazon, Hulu, and Apple+.

 

Kevin's storytelling prowess extends beyond the realms of documentaries, with a diverse portfolio including the poignant Shoah documentary on Holocaust victims, where he served as a cameraman under the legendary Steven Spielberg. His work also spans documentaries featuring iconic figures like Britney Spears, Steven Tyler, and Ray Charles for VH1.
